304 hot-rolled stainless steel plates sometimes need to be bent according to customer needs. However, everyone knows that the thickness of hot-rolled plates and cold-rolled plates is different. The thickness range of 304 hot-rolled stainless steel plates is 3.0~200mm.
In terms of processing performance, 304 hot-rolled stainless steel plates are slightly worse, and thicker ones are not easy to process and shape. Therefore, they can only be bent within the range of 3.0~6.0mm.
It is difficult to bend 304 stainless steel hot-rolled plates above 6mm, which has high requirements for bending machines and molds. The bending angle and steel performance may be unstable, and cracks may occur, so it is recommended to use welding or angle fittings.
