Steel pipe fittings are also called steel tee fittings or tee fittings. The main pipe adopts a steel tee joint. It has three openings, namely one import and two exports; or two imports and one export. It is a chemical pipeline fitting. It has T-shape, Y-shape, equal-diameter pipe holes, and reducing pipe holes. It can be used to change the flow direction of fluids and can also be used in pipes, pipes, and pipes for various liquid chemical materials. Mainly used in medical, water conservancy (water-saving irrigation, water supply, and drainage), energy (oil, natural gas, nuclear industry), construction, and other engineering fields.
Steel tee classification:
1. Classification according to pipe diameter
Same-diameter steel tee: Same-diameter steel tee for main pipe and branch pipe
Steel tee with different diameters: The diameter of the branch pipe is smaller than the diameter of the main pipe.
2. Classification according to docking form
Butt welding steel tee: a steel tee fitting that is butt welded to the connecting pipe fitting and then welded.
Socket steel tee: Insert the connecting pipe into both ends of the steel tee and weld the steel tee.
Card sleeve steel tee: Each end is a card sleeve connector. After inserting the connector, tighten the steel tee connector.
Threaded steel tee: Threaded steel tee fitting.
3. Classification by material
It can be divided into stainless steel tee, carbon steel tee, copper tee, PVC tee, ductile iron tee, etc.
4. Classification by branch form
Main steel tee: It is the steel tee fitting of the vertical main pipe of the branch pipe.
Inclined steel tee: It is a steel tee fitting in which the branch pipe and the main pipe are at a certain angle.
