The Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ), which belongs to the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), has mastered the production of pipes with a diameter of 2,520 mm. The first batch of products has been shipped to customers.
Relying on its own technological potential and production capacity, TMK completed the product development in a record three months. A batch of test tubes was produced in June 2022. Tests proved that the new product meets all the necessary requirements of the customer.
It was reported that one of the main uses of such pipes is the construction of port embankments in areas with harsh climatic conditions.
