According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 13,000 tons of structural pipes in April this year, falling by 5% compared to the previous month but hiking by 40% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 8,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 2.6% and a year-on-year hike of 41.8%. Mexico ranked second with roughly 3,700 tons, and the exports to other destinations were less than 1,000 tons.
During the period, the export value totaled approximately US$26 million, down by 3.7% month on month and up by 55.4% year on year.
