What is the difference between hot-dip galvanized steel pipe and hot-dip galvanized steel pipe SC

1. Different representations: Hot-dip galvanized steel pipes generally refer to the standard nominal diameter of water pipes. The written symbol is DN. Hot-dip galvanized steel pipe SC means that the conductors are laid through steel pipes (low-pressure fluid welded steel pipes). SC is ordinary welded steel pipes, which are equal to the professional DN of water. SC is welded steel pipes concealed. Generally, the pipe walls are relatively thick. S stands for pipe and C stands for Laying method.

2. Different processes: hot-dip galvanizing has a thick coating, so it has strong anti-corrosion ability. Hot-dip galvanized steel pipes have uniform SC and good surface quality, and the coating thickness is generally between a few microns and more than ten microns. Hot-dip galvanizing is a chemical treatment and an electrochemical reaction. Hot-dip galvanized steel pipe SC is a physical treatment. It only brushes a layer of zinc on the surface. There is no galvanizing inside at all, so hot-dip galvanized steel pipe SC is easy to fall off. Hot dip galvanizing is often used in building construction.

What hot-dip galvanized steel pipes and hot-dip galvanized steel pipes have in common is that they are both galvanized steel pipes.
